HIGH PRESSURE ARC WELDING
The
student will receive the necessary training and skills required to
perform a high pressure T.S.S.A. pipe test at the conclusion of this
course. Training and skills are also obtained in the proper use and
safety of hand torches, automatic torches, grinders, and plasma cutting.

PRACTICAL TRAINING
The
student will train on SMAW in flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead
positions on various joints, beveled plates and 2-inch pipe. Students
will obtain knowledge on setting various machines, selecting proper
electrodes, machine operation and maintenance, and preparation of
materials to be used.
