HIGH PRESSURE TIG ON CARBON
The
student will receive the necessary training and skills required to
perform a high pressure T.S.S.A. pipe test at the conclusion of this
course. Training and skills are also obtained in the proper use and
safety of automatic torches, and grinders.
COURSE DURATION: 14 Weeks (420 hours)
TESTING: GTAW/SMAW 6G pipe

PRACTICAL TRAINING
The
student will train on SMAW and GTAW in flat, horizontal, vertical,
overhead positions on various joints, beveled plates and 2-inch pipe.
Students will obtain knowledge on setting various machines, selecting
proper electrodes, machine operation and maintenance, and preparation
of materials to be used.
